What is bang bang sauce? In this version, it’s a mixture of a melted butter, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, garlic, and lime juice. Both our Bang Bang Brussels Sprouts and Bang Bang Broccoliused olive oil, but you can’t grill corn with butter. It’s just wrong!
Before you grill, brush the spicy butter all over on each of the cobs. You’ll also want to continue to add more while they’re cooking. They’ll get nice and caramelized that way. It only takes 10 to 15 minutes to char all sides of the corn, so basting them throughout the cooking process isn’t as annoying as it sounds.
To add a touch of freshness, sprinkle on some chopped cilantro at the end. Or if you’re a person that thinks it tastes like soap, go with green onion.
